On October 17th, CapitaLand became one of two Singapore-based companies listed in the top 100 on Forbes’ 2017 Global 2000 - an annual ranking of 2,000 public companies in 58 countries by Forbes magazine.

As fertile land, Vietnamese retail market is witnessing fierce competition among domestic and international brands such as Co.opmart, Aeon, Lotte and Central Group. This forces existing supermarkets to change their business models and pricing strategies as well as their marketing methods.

As reported, at this conference, by the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the provincial authority will grant the investment certificates, approve the investment policies and conclude the investment memorandum for 32 projects

The Prime Minister encouraged CapitaLand to effectively invest further in the new urban development model in Vietnam through large and long-term projects whilst supporting the investment policy of Raffles Complex in Vietnam - a model that has been successfully launched by CapitaLand in many parts of Asia.
